Shannon Sharpe, retired Denver Broncos tight end, may soon return to ESPN after stepping away as a result of rape accusations from OnlyFans model, Gabriella Zuniga. According to recent reports, the lawsuit has been settled with a $50M payment by Sharpe to Zuniga, with her lawyer stating that everything had been indeed “consensual” between the two parties.

Zuniga made headlines a while ago when it was reported that a certain party was accusing Shannon Sharpe of sexual assault. While her name was not exactly mentioned in the lawsuit, social media detectives were quick to dig up her details and found that she was an adult content creator on OnlyFans. On Saturday, Zuniga put out a statement on her Instagram that she is quitting the OnlyFans space but will still remain active on social media.
“Today, I have decided to retire from OnlyFans. Thank you for the incredible support you’ve shown me over the past few years. This community has given me a life I could have never imagined. I’ll still be active on social media and have several new projects in the works that I can’t wait to share! I’m truly excited for this next chapter. I love you all forever and ever.” Gabriella Zuniga shared on her Instagram account.

After Gabriella Zuniga’s shocking announcement, social media users could not help but think that her lawsuit against Shannon Sharpe may have all been for the sake of money. Zuniga is hardly 20 years old and has already amassed plenty of capital to sustain her throughout her life.
Shannon Sharpe Called Out After $50M Settlement
On the other side, there have been numerous fans who felt that Shannon Sharpe was indeed guilty of rape and sexual assault after he decided to confidentially reach a $50M settlement with Gabriella Zuniga. According to several fans, if the retired NFL tight end was indeed not guilty, he would have continued to fight the lawsuit with every fiber of his being instead of quietly settling with the adult content creator.

Another fan felt that Sharpe was simply being irresponsible and undisciplined and that others should learn a lesson from him. Yet another fan felt that Sharpe might have settled to pay Zuniga to simply save himself from the trouble of going court to court fighting the case. Whatever the truth may be, Shannon Sharpe has remained awfully quiet about it since the start and even after news of his settlement made headlines.
