Selma Blair, popular actress, recently showed off the great time she had during the recent Kentucky Derby in a photo-dump on Instagram. In one of the pics she posted, Blair posed with Olympic gymnast Simone Biles.
Simone Biles was easily one of the best dressed at the event, wearing a lavender strapless gown with an elegant asymmetrical hat. She also chose to honor her husband, Jonathan Owens, who is a safety with the Chicago Bears, wearing a necklace with his name. Owens was the perfect complement for Biles as he turned up to the horse race wearing a paisley-print suit of the same color as Biles’ dress.
“And incredible to meet you and fall at your feet” Selma Blair captioned her Instagram picture where she poses with gymnast Simone Biles.
Selma Blair seemed to have a major fan-girl moment with Simone Biles, who delighted millions of fans with her prowess on the mat. Meanwhile, Biles is enjoying the NFL offseason with Jonathan Owens who plays for the Chicago Bears.
Simone Biles and Owens met each other on a dating app. Apparently, Owens did not know who she was at first. However, the couple hit it off and got engaged on Valentine’s Day in 2022. The next year, the two got married in a private ceremony in Texas and had a much larger celebration in Mexico with friends and family.

Selma Blair Hopes To Return To Acting After Being Declared ‘Truly Relapse Free’
On another positive not, Selma Blair revealed that she is truly relapse free a week back after struggling with multiple sclerosis for many years. Blair also admitted that she hopes to get back to acting soon. Blair spoke about this during an award show.

The ‘Legally Blonde’ actress was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis back in 2018 and revealed it publicly. Apparently, Blair was struggling with the symptoms for a number of years before she was properly diagnosed with MS.

While she definitely received support after being diagnosed with such a condition, Selma Blair also mentioned that the disease negatively impacted her career in acting. Blair’s condition is unique since she also suffers from Ehlers-Danlos syndrome which also leads to joint pain and stiffness. Hopefully, since she has not had any MS attacks recently, Blair might be able to return to the profession that once brought her happiness and fame.
