The Seattle Seahawks are still looking to improve both guard positions this offseason, bringing in experienced players for a visit in hopes of signing them. One notable guard Seattle brought in this week was Teven Jenkins, formerly of the Chicago Bears. Jenkins was initially scheduled to visit the Seahawks on Monday, but the meeting ended up taking place on Tuesday.

It’s been two days since the former Bears offensive lineman visited with the Seahawks without a deal.

In a surprising turn of events, the Cleveland Browns signed Teven Jenkins to a one-year contract. As a result, the Seahawks either failed to sign Jenkins, were not interested, or didn’t offer an attractive salary just two days after meeting with one of the top remaining free-agent guards.
