The Seattle Seahawks needed to address the quarterback position after trading Geno Smith to the Las Vegas Raiders last weekend. Since they currently have the 18th overall pick in the upcoming draft and considering the quarterback draft class is not as good as last year, Seattle would prefer to address the position in free agency. The good news is that the Seahawks have plenty of cap space and can afford to sign a big-name free agent.
