Seattle Seahawks Deliver Bad News for Standout Offensive Lineman

The (11-3) Seattle Seahawks host the (11-3) Los Angeles Rams at Lumen Field for a pivotal Week 16 matchup on Thursday Night Football. With the final injury report set to be released shortly, one injury to monitor is Seattle’s standout left tackle, Charles Cross. Cross suffered an apparent hamstring injury in Week 15 against the Indianapolis Colts while blocking during the game-winning field goal in the final minute to hand the Seahawks the 18-16 lead and would sit for the final kneel down.

Charles Cross was estimated as a non-participant during this week’s practice, a negative sign regarding his availability for Week 16. During Wednesday’s press conference, Mike Macdonald already ruled out the standout offensive tackle for the game against the Los Angeles Rams, as reported by Curtis Crabtree of FOX 13 Seattle. As a result, Macdonald has named Josh Jones as the starting left tackle for Thursday night.

Will their standout RT play?

Abraham Lucas suffered an apparent neck injury in Week 15 against the Indianapolis Colts that resulted in him missing three snaps. He was estimated as a full participant during this week’s practice. The good news is that Lucas does not carry an official injury designation and is good to go.
