Scott Frost Needs to Beat Oklahoma

Every year, the return of Nebraska is being discussed through talk shows, Twitter, and regular college football conversations. However, many seem to be complacent this year about the Cornhuskers. Now more than ever, with the hot seat burning, Scott Frost needs to be Oklahoma.

Nebraska with a must-win game in Dublin, Ireland

The Cornhuskers will play a Week 0 game in Dublin, Ireland, versus Northwestern. Playing an away game is difficult enough in college football, but traveling to a different country proves bothersome for even NFL players.

With the game being in Dublin and not much football on during Week 0, all eyes will be on Scott Frost and his Nebraska squad. Nebraska should win this football game. Scott Frost must win this game. Already in Week 0, Nebraska faces a must-win scenario.

Scott Frost and the Cornhuskers can start the 2022 season 3-0

After playing Northwestern, Nebraska has an easy schedule for the next two weeks. North Dakota and Georiga Southern will visit Memorial Stadium, and Nebraska should be awarded two wins. Although no win is easy in college football, and college football is far from predictable, Scott Frost should head into Week 3 with an undefeated record and momentum on his side.

Scott Frost needs to beat Oklahoma

Why would Scott Frost need to beat an out-of-conference team? Is it crazy to see Nebraska beating Oklahoma after all the Cornhuskers only lost by a touchdown in 2021? Wouldn’t it be easier to beat Oklahoma after the Sooners lost their brilliant signal caller and star quarterback?

The stars may be aligning for Nebraska to pull off their biggest win in the Scott Frost era. However, this adds even more pressure on Scott Frost.

Scott Frost has a chance to finally get over the hump as Nebraska’s head coach and have a win against a powerhouse program. Not only will he still be undefeated with a huge win under his belt, but he will also have the potential to be undefeated facing Michigan with three weeks left in the season.

It is more than possible for his team to be hungover and face some upsets. However, if Scott Frost gets a needed win versus Oklahoma, Nebraska could become a household name once again. His seat might get a little cooler too along the way.
