President Donald Trump’s White House didn’t care about Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley’s wishes. They put him on a list without his permission.
Last week, Trump welcomed several athletes, including controversial NFL figures such as Kansas City Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker and Hall of Fame linebacker Lawrence Taylor, to the White House as a part of his council on sports, fitness, and nutrition.
Saquon Barkley “shocked” to be on President Donald Trump’s list

Per Zach Berman of PHLY, Barkley claimed he’s not a part of the council, as he was not “prepared” to take on the duty required for the council.
“Barkley said he’s not a part of President Trump’s council on Sports, Fitness and Nutrition,” Berman wrote. “He was asked a few months ago and it wasn’t something he was prepared to take on. He was “shocked” that his name was mentioned.”
