Saquon Barkley’s fiancée, Anna Congdon, could not hold back her reaction for the Philadelphia Eagles running back’s Met Gala outfit. Barkley wore a black-tux to the glamorous event styled by Lesus McPhearson. He completed his outfit with a bow tie and a black H. Moser & Cie. watch. The tux also wore a sequined arm wrap on his left arm.
This year the Met Gala went with the ‘Superfine: Tailoring Black Style’ theme, which was meant to celebrate Black fashion and also dandyism. Along with Barkley, several other NFL players like Justin Jefferson and Joe Burrow were seen at the star-studded event.

Saquon Barkley and Anna Congdon met each other at Penn State University and have been together since 2017. The couple has two children together, a daughter and a son. Last year, Barkley and Congdon got engaged and announced it publicly.
Meanwhile, Barkley and the rest of the Philadelphia Eagles are preparing to win another Super Bowl after winning the previous one against the Kansas City Chiefs. The 28-year-old running back has been playing for the Eagles since the previous season and before that was part of the New York Giants from 2018 to 2023. Barkley entered the NFL after being selected by the Gants as the second pick in the very first round of the draft.
Saquon Barkley’s Team’s Secret Move May Soon Be Banned
On another note, Saquon Barkley’s Philadelphia Eagles may soon find that their secret move, the ‘tush push’ may be banned by the NFL. At the NFL annual meetings last month, a ban for the move was proposed by the Green Bay Packers. However, there was no proper conclusion on the matter.
According to recent rumors, a ban for the tush push move may soon be finalized later this month. The tush push is actually inspired by rugby and has been uniquely used by the Philadelphia Eagles. Although many other teams in the NFL have tried to replicate it, they have not been as successful as the Eagles.
While the Philadelphia Eagles are definitely experts in the tush push, they still have many other weapons up their sleeves. So, even if the move is banned in the league, the team will not struggle to put up wins, especially due to their fantastic roster. In the previous NFL season, running back Barkley and quarterback Jalen Hurts were credited as the most important players for the Eagles.
