Saquon Barkley, running back for the Philadelphia Eagles, was an honored guest at NBA reporter Taylor Rooks’ wedding to Shane Fowler. The guest list of Rooks’ wedding numbered to less than 200 people and was also a no-phone event. The only pictures available were those that Rooks herself shared on her Instagram account.

From the pictures, it seems like Barkley’s fiancée, Anna Congdon, was also not invited to the wedding. Despite this, Congdon dropped her wishes for Rooks and Fowler on Instagram. Barkley definitely looked dapper in the pictures as he posed next to the newly married couple. Apart from Barkley, a number of other sports celebrities, including Kevin Durant, were also seen among the guests.
“Biggest blessings my friend” Anna Congdon commented on Taylor Rooks’ wedding to Shane Fowler.
Taylor Rook’s wedding to Shane Fowler is definitely one of the more intimate weddings the sporting world has seen this year. Some time ago, Buffalo Bills quarterback got married to actress Hailee Steinfeld in a similarly intimate ceremony, but the guest list was larger than this one.

Meanwhile, Saquon Barkley will be getting ready for another interesting season with the Philadelphia Eagles, hoping that this one goes better than the previous year. Barkley and the Eagles won the Super Bowl earlier this year against the Kansas City Chiefs and the running back is definitely eager to churn out bigger numbers.
Saquon Barkley Wants To Win The Super Bowl
Saquon Barkley seems to be entering the 2025 NFL season with a clear-cut goal, i.e. to win the Super Bowl at any cost. As teams started to train for the upcoming season, various sources speculated that Barkley might be reaching for another 2000 rushing yards record with the Eagles in the 2025 campaign. However, in a recent conversation with reporters at the training camp, Barkley discussed that rather than solely aiming for a 2000 rushing yards record, he simply is going for the Super Bowl.

Saquon Barkley joined the Philadelphia Eagles in the 2024 NFL season after the New York Giants failed to retain him on the roster. The running back soon proved to the Giants that the team indeed lost a worthy champion after he lifted the Lombardi Trophy in the very first season he played for the Philadelphia Eagles. After winning his Super Bowl ring, Barkley did call out the New York Giants for not keeping him in the locker room.
