It may still be the offseason in the NFL, but San Francisco 49ers star running back Christian McCaffrey is keeping himself busy. He’s also using some of his free time trying to make an impact on other people’s lives, as he recently hosted a Youth Football Camp at San Joaquin Memorial High School that was organized by FlexWork Sports Management.
In a social media post on Tuesday, McCaffrey shared some photos from the camp, including one that shows a kid with a “CMC” haircut.
“This weekend was such an honor! 5 cities in 3 days. Thanks to everyone who showed up! You guys are the best🙏🏼,” McCaffrey wrote as a caption for his post.

Meanwhile, McCaffrey’s wife, Olivia Culpo, couldn’t help but notice the haircut.
“Ok fineeee I’ll get the CMC haircut 🙄,” commented the former Miss Universe, who married McCaffrey in 2024.
McCaffrey’s offseason workload with the San Francisco 49ers

McCaffrey is looking to have a strong rebound in the 2025 NFL season. He was not able to do much on the field for the Niners in 2024, as Achilles tendon and knee issues held him to just four games. With that, he racked up only 202 rushing yards and 146 receiving yards.
Nevertheless, McCaffrey remains widely seen as one of the best offensive weapons in the NFL when healthy, which is also why the 49ers appeare to be taking a careful approach in his offseason workload, as they make sure he’s as fresh as possible come the 2025 campaign.
Via Fox Sports:
Coach Kyle Shanahan said he is aware that he needs to manage McCaffrey’s workload this summer in order “to protect him from himself” and make sure he’s healthy and fresh when the games count.
“He does everything imaginable every single day,” Shanahan said. “Last year he couldn’t because he was battling injury all last year, and this year he is healthy, so he is right back to being who he has always been — and it’s really fun to watch.”
