Just recently, Chubbies named a new brand ambassador and creative director to spearhead its football program. It has since been revealed to be San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle.
Kittle recently reached a significant milestone by playing in his 100th NFL game, during which he showcased his skills despite the team’s 23-17 loss to the Minnesota Vikings. Kittle recorded seven catches for 76 yards and a touchdown, bringing his total receiving yards to 6,390. This impressive figure places him third in all-time receiving yards for tight ends in their first 100 games, trailing only Travis Kelce and Rob Gronkowski.
However, Gronkowski recently stirred controversy by suggesting that the 49ers lack a standout “IT” factor among their players. In an interview, he noted that while the team possesses numerous talented players, they need a significant star to elevate their performance. This comment came shortly after the 49ers’ defeat, adding to the scrutiny facing the team.
Kittle’s accomplishments are even more noteworthy considering the challenges he has faced, including a lack of consistent quarterback support. His performance continues to establish him as one of the elite tight ends in the league, alongside Kelce and Gronkowski, who both have enjoyed remarkable careers.
As Kittle progresses through the season, he aims to solidify his legacy while responding to Gronkowski’s remarks about the team’s dynamics. The 49ers remain a formidable presence in the NFL, and Kittle’s continued excellence is crucial as they seek to reclaim their status as playoff contenders. The contrasting perspectives from Gronkowski and Kittle highlight the ongoing dialogue about team identity and individual contributions in the highly competitive league.

Just recently, Kittle has assumed a new role outside of the field. In a tweet shared by Ian Rapoport on his official X account, it has been revealed that the 49ers star has a new job with Chubbies.
“THIS JUST IN: George Kittle takes on a new role with Chubbies (my favorite shorts brand) as The Creative Director of Football and Brand Ambassador.
