The San Francisco 49ers answered one of the biggest questions for them in the offseason when they finally inked star tight end George Kittle to a new contract.
Kittle revealed in a recent episode of the “Bussin’ With The Boys” podcast that he had already signed an extension contract with the Niners worth $76.4 million, which keeps him in San Francisco’s fold until the 2029 NFL season.
Following the revelation of Kittle’s extension, his wife, Claire Kittle, shared a short but heartfelt post on Instagram.
“4 more baby,” wrote Mrs. Kittle as caption for the post which also featured a heart emoki and a black-and-white photo of the six-time Pro Bowler holding his helmet.

Kittle’s extension also comes with a massive guaranteed money worth $40 million. His deal also followed another great individual season, as he amassed 1,106 receiving yards and eight touchdowns on 78 receptions and 94 targets in 15 games with the 49ers.
But as a team, San Francisco had a forgettable 2024 campaign, going just 6-11, the worst record in the NFC West division, to miss the NFL playoffs for the first time since the 2020 season.
Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk also shared more details about Kittle’s contract. Apart from the guaranteed money, Kittle also gets a signing bonus of $18.15 million and a 2025 offseason workout bonus worth $100,000, per Florio.
