The San Francisco 49ers dominated the New England Patriots 30-13 in their Week 4 game on Sunday. 49ers tight end George Kittle scored one of the three touchdowns for his team after catching a pass from Brock Purdy in the second quarter.
Kittle‘s wife Claire enjoyed the game while watching from the stands. On Monday, she shared a photo on her Instagram story showing herself, fullback Kyle Juszczyk’s wife Kristin, and wide receiver/returner Trent Taylor’s wife Sarah as they celebrated their team’s victory.
“Game days with you two,” said Claire’s caption, tagging Kristin and Sarah.
San Francisco 49ers linebacker Fred Warner’s wife Sydney watched the game with her son
Apart from Claire Kittle, Kristin Juszczyk, and Sarah Taylor, Sydney Warner was also in attendance at the Levi’s Stadium to cheer for her linebacker husband Fred Warner and the San Francisco 49ers. She brought their son Beau Anthony to the game, posting pictures of themselves on Instagram after the game.
The following day, she made another Instagram post, sharing a “before-and-after” clip of her watching her husband while pregnant with their baby and then of last Sunday when she brought their half-a-year old boy to the game.
Fred Warner may have injured himself during the 49ers-Patriots game
Fred Warner scored the first of the San Francisco 49ers’ three touchdowns earlier in the second quarter, intercepting Patriots quarterback Jacoby Brissett and running 45 yards to the end zone, apparently injuring his ankle in the process. He was eventually able to return to the field in the second half.
Assessing the extent of the apparent injury after the game, Warner talked about his status for their upcoming game.
“I would have been out there if I could have been. We’ll see as we get more information on it (the injury),” said the linebacker.
“It was all based on feel. It takes a lot for me to tap out, right? If I could have been out there, I would have been. We’ll get more information as we go with scans and all that. But I couldn’t (play) right now,” he added.
After some medical assessment, Warner is listed as “day-to-day” for practices ahead of their next game against the Arizona Cardinals. Coach Kyle Shanahan is optimistic about Warner’s readiness for the game.
“Anything that says ‘day-to-day,’ just when you don’t know that the night before, we always definitely feel better when it says ‘day-to-day,’” said the 49ers coach. “If it’s a high-ankle sprain or anything like that, you know that’s always some time. I know he’s hurting today and stuff, but from the reports and everything, when we say ‘day-to-day,’ that gives him a chance to heal up this week.”
The 49ers and the Cardinals are scheduled to go head-to-head on Sunday, October 6, at 4:08 p.m. ET, airing on Fox.
