The San Francisco 49ers almost certainly won’t have Brandon Aiyuk on their roster for the 2024 season, at least that how it looks at this point. The two sides have been unable to get a contract extension done for months, and now are allowing Aiyuk to explore trade destinations.
With over 1,300 yards and seven touchdowns in 2023, Aiyuk was a massive part of the 49ers’ offense. They’ve already started looking at possible replacements going into 2024, but one didn’t sit well with fans at all.
San Francisco 49ers Fans Not Happy With Latest Wide Receiver To Visit Team

The San Francisco 49ers have been reportedly in the process of trading wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk, but it looks like the team could have found his replacement. During Wednesday’s practice, free agent wide receiver Robbie Chosen was spotted on the field working out for the team.
Robbie Chosen has been part of the New York Jets, Carolina Panthers, Arizona Cardinals and Miami Dolphins after coming out of Temple. Last season with the Dolphins, he appeared in nine games and finished with just four catches on six receptions for 126 yards (31.5 yards per catch) and a touchdown grab.
With players like running back Christian McCaffrey, wide receiver Deebo Samuel and left tackle Trent Williams all getting major paydays while quarterback Brock Purdy is getting prepared for a massive extension, the San Francisco 49ers are in a need to find cheaper players for the rest of the roster.

49ers fans are hoping an unexpected deal gets done with Aiyuk, the possible replacements out there aren’t nearly as talented.
