It’s not often that we find Samuel L. Jackson talking about the NFL. The veteran actor turns out to be a fan of Quarterback Lamar Jackson. In a recent episode on “The Jimmy Kimmel Show,” the actor talked about his support for the Atlanta Falcons.
Jackson called Atlanta home and he’s always been a strong supporter for the hometown team. However, he mentioned that he’s also a Baltimore Ravens fan. The actor later dropped a hilarious comment on Lamar Jackson, saying that he’s is bastard son. Lamar and Jackson share the same last name and the actor never hesitated to crack a joke.

“I can’t not be a Falcon fan, but I cheer most for the Baltimore Ravens because Lamar Jackson is my [bastard] son. That’s what everybody thinks, so I roll with that,” Jackson said.

When asked if people really think that Lamar Jackson is his son, the actor said:
“I roll with it, of course, all kinds of side by side pictures of us online. And when he was at Louisville, he used to sit next to a Samuel. So it would be Samuel L. Jackson on the back of the jerseys when they were on the bench. It was great. Great for me,” Jackson continued.
Samuel L. Jackson Opens Up On His Super Bowl Performance
Rapper Kendrick Lamar performed at the Super Bowl halftime show this year and NFL fans were hyped to watch him. However, Samuel L. Jackson’s cameo appearance as Uncle Sam went viral. The actor stated he was unaware that he signed up for his dress rehearsal.

“I had no idea about any of that till we actually did dress rehearsal, That was the first time I knew we were doing a revolution. I knew I was dressing as Uncle Sam. But I just thought that was like, ‘Okay, fine, it’s an Uncle Sam thing.’ When dress rehearsal starts, I’m there, I’m doing it, and I turn around and I said, ‘Wait a minute, that’s a flag… they’re making a flag up there.’ Now I’m going, ‘Ah, now it’s revolutionary. Just thought it was me being Sam,” Samuel L. Jackson continued.
It was an unforgettable experience for the veteran actor and several NFL fans were thrilled to watch him perform.
