“How Lucky Are We”: Sam Darnold’s Fiancé Katie Hoofnagle Turns Heads In Lace Dress At Family Bridal Shower

Sam Darnold’s fiancé celebrated her bridal shower over the weekend and shared pictures from the event on her Instagram Story. Katie Hoofnagle gave off ethereal bridal looks as she dazzled in a white lacy dress at the celebration.

While Hoofnagle was celebrated by several of her close friends and family, her fiancé, Darnold, was missing in action with the signal-caller having a game the next day. While Hoofnagle had a pretty awesome weekend, the same cannot be said for Darnold with his team suffering a defeat at the hands of the Rams.

“how lucky are we to have such good people in our lives!!” Katie Hoofnagle captioned her Instagram Story post.

Sam Darnold’s mother managed to make it to the celebration, and even shared a post of her own where she appreciated her “beautiful bonus daughter on the way”. Meanwhile, the quarterback himself has faced a barrage of mockery and jokes from fans on social media, who have deemed his Rams outing as his worst performance so far.

“I can’t turn the ball over as much as I did today. I’ll learn from it, watch the tape, grow from it. You’ve got to give credit to the Rams. Obviously, they’re a really good defense, a really good team. But I’ve got to be better, personally.” Sam Darnold said after the game.

The signal-caller seems to be taking much of the blame on his own shoulders. However, those who have followed the game closely know only too well that the rest of the team, especially the defense, are to equally share the blame.

Sam Darnold Backed By Ernest Jones IV After Rams Defeat

Sam Darnold might be blaming himself for the recent defeat to Matthew Stafford and the Rams, but his teammates are not going to give up on him so quickly. Ernest Jones IV was asked about the team’s defeat after the game and the linebacker did not hold back his support for his QB.

“Sam’s been balling. If we want to try to define Sam by this game, Sam’s had us in every f—ing game. So, for him to sit there and say, ‘That’s my fault,’ no it’s not. It was plays that defensively we could have made … opportunities where we could have got better stops.” Ernest Jones IV said.

Jones further called out those who have been heaping hate on Sam Darnold and added that the game of football is such. Meanwhile, fans will pray that Darnold uses this terrible failure to make a quick turnaround for his team.
