There is an old saying that “Defense Wins Championships”, this maybe true but all defenses need an offense to put points on the board. The Saints will need their offense to show up in order to win in London.
The Saints have yet to find the offensive flow needed to win games. Just last Sunday against the panthers the Saints turned the ball over three times.
If the Saints look to win in London they will need to be clicking on all cylinders.
Preparation for London
The Saints traveled to London on Sunday after their loss to the panthers. In the past players and teams have spoken about the hardships that come with playing overseas.
Flying in early will allow the Saints the opportunity to have the needed team meetings and allow the players to adjust to the time change.
Additionally the early arrival gives the coaching staff time to develop a game plan to beat the Minnesota Vikings.
“We got over here this morning so we could get a good week of work, focus in on what we have to do to improve, focus in on what we have to do to get ourselves ready to win a game on Sunday,” Coach Dennis Allen said. “We’ve got a lot of areas that we’ve got to improve on – offensively, defensively and in the kicking game. We’ve got to work hard to get those things corrected and fixed before we get to Sunday.”
Studs and Duds in Saints Loss to Panthers
Many of the Who Dat Nation don’t place full blame on Winston for Sunday’s loss. Many fans point to the fact that Head Coach Dennis Allen is acting more like an offensive coordinator and not a head coach.
