Alabama wide receiver Ryan Williams made a big career move in July ahead of his sophomore season of college football. Williams, 18, is hoping to help Alabama reach the playoffs in his second season with the program.
Williams and Alabama are set to begin their season against Florida State on Aug. 30 at Doak Campbell Stadium. Before training camp is set to begin for the Crimson Tide this month, Williams made sure to take care of some business.

Per a post by Alabama Football on Friday morning, the team announced Williams signed a deal with the athletic company Nike.

As a six-foot, 175-pound freshman, Williams had a monster season for Alabama in 2024, recording 48 receptions for 865 yards and eight touchdowns in the passing game. The Mobile, Alabama native added another 48 yards and two touchdowns on the ground.

Williams earned freshman All-American and first-team All-SEC honors for his play last season.
Per On3, Williams had an NIL valuation of $2.3 million before the deal with Nike was announced. He’s set to see that figure balloon before he enters the draft in 2027.
