Former NFL quarterback Robert Griffin II was among the many who voiced out their take on the controversial moment following Tuesday night’s NBA Playoffs game between the Indiana Pacers and the Milwaukee Bucks, involving two-time NBA Most Valuable Player Giannis Antetokounmpo and the father of Pacers star point guard Tyrese Haliburton, John Haliburton.

Antetokounmpo and John got into it and exchanged some words after the latter was seen seemingly trying to test the Bucks star’s patience.

Robert Griffin wants drastic measure taken against Haliburton’s dad

For Griffin, the elder Haliburton should no longer be allowed in NBA games in the regular season because of his actions after the contest.
Tyrese Haliburton’s Dad should be banned for the rest of the playoffs. Fans and spectators shouldn’t be approaching a player on the court after the game to taunt them IN THEIR FACE, let alone Giannis Antetokounmpo who is one of the NBA’s biggest stars.
Antetokounmpo shared his thoughts on the incident after the game, saying that John went in front of him and waved a towel while also shouting, “This is what we do! This is what we [expletive] do!”
As for the game itself, the Bucks lost to Indiana, 119-118, with the Pacers advancing to the second round of the playoffs. Antetokounmpo was likely not in the mood to entertain such antics by Haliburton’s father, especially after his team just had one of the worst playoff collapses in recent memory, but still showed great restraint before that heated exchange with John.
