    “We Honor The Real Heroes”: Rob Gronkowski Makes Patriotic Post In Memorial Day Tribute

    Rob Gronkowski, former NFL tight end, recently shared a post on his X account for Memorial Day. Gronkowski shared two pictures from the ceremony where he can be seen laying a flower wreath in Fort Myers, Arlington. Gronk also shared a statement in his post where he commented on honoring those who had laid down their lives for the country.

    Gronkowski played for 11 seasons in the NFL as a valuable tight end to mainly the New England Patriots. After pausing his career for a while, Gronk came back to the league to play for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. In his entire NFL career, the tight end managed a total of 621 receptions for 9,286 yards, scoring 92 touchdowns for the team.

    “Today we honor the real heroes, the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom,” Rob Gronkowski wrote in his post on X, while sharing two pictures from the ceremony in Fort Myers, Arlington.

    Not only Rob Gronkowski, but the entire NFL community observed the 2025 Memorial Day in order to honor men and women who made big sacrifices for their country. Apart from Gronk, Xavier Restrepo also shared a patriotic post for Memorial Day. The wide receiver for the Tennessee Titans shared an emotional post on his social media account.

    Rob Gronkowski’s Comeback Team To Meet Atlanta Falcons In NFL Week 1

    Meanwhile, Rob Gronkowski’s former team, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will be locking horns with the Atlanta Falcons in the first week of the upcoming NFL season. Gronk played for the Buccaneers for a single season after coming out of his retirement, and even managed to win one Super Bowl with the team.

    In their previous matchup with the Falcons in the 2024 NFL season, the Buccaneers took a beating and lost 31-26. In that matchup, Tampa Bay’s starting quarterback, Baker Mayfield scored three touchdowns along with two interceptions, while completing 37 passes out of 50 attempts for 330 yards. Bucky Irving led the team in rushing with nine carries while Cade Otton managed nine receptions for 81 yards, scoring two touchdowns.

    Before meeting the Atlanta Falcons in their season opener, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will be warming up with three preseason games, against the Tennessee Titans, the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Buffalo Bills. The Buccaneers will be eager to improve their record in the upcoming NFL season after losing to the Washington Commanders in the Wild Card round.
