Robert Kraft, owner of the New England Patriots, recently bid goodbye to son Josh Kraft, who has resigned from his position in the club for a greater role. Joshua Kraft was previously the head of the New England Patriots Foundation and now is aiming to be the future mayor of Boston. Joshua Kraft is running against Michelle Wu, but according to recent reports is already losing by a pretty big margin.

Josh Kraft might not be the mayor of Boston yet since most of the polls are in Wu’s favor. However, the 58-year-old seems positive in his mission that he will be able to beat Michelle Wu in the mayoral campaign.
“Josh didn’t get into the Mayor’s race because of what polling says, and nothing has changed his focus on continuing to show up in Boston neighborhoods, talk to residents, and listen to the concerns of many people who are disappointed with this Mayor and the direction the city is going,” Josh Kraft’s campaign spokesperson said in a recent statement.

While Robert Kraft’s youngest son focuses on his mayoral race, the 84-year-old entrepreneur will be hoping that his team does better in the upcoming NFL season. The Patriots will be eager to put out a better record after being unable to make it to the playoffs in the previous football year. The team will be kicking off their 2025 NFL campaign with a matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 1.
Robert Kraft Reveals The Biggest Risk He Took As Patriots Owner
Robert Kraft appeared as an honored guest on the ‘Dudes on Dudes’ podcast a few days back and his narration of former Patriots coach, Bill Belichick, was anything less than dramatic. Kraft admitted that he took a huge risk in his career in bringing Belichick aboard the Patriots. Before that, Belichick was with the New York Jets.
“Well, the one that got questioned the most was in 1999. I gave up a No. 1 draft pick for a coach who had only won a little over 40 percent of his games to get him out…I think getting Bill Belichick to come to the Patriots in 1999 was a big risk, and I got hammered in the Boston media.” Robert Kraft said on ‘Dudes on Dudes’.

Bringing Bill Belichick to the New England Patriots was definitely one of the best choices that Robert Kraft made for the team. Belichick was essential in grooming and molding superstar Tom Brady who went on to win seven Super Bowl rings for the team.
