The NFL report came out of Philadelphia Eagles practice Wednesday that DE Brandon Graham is playing in his last NFL season this season. Graham is the longest tenured Eagle in franshise history in playing 15 season with the Eagles.
The Philadelphia Eagles have lost All-time Center Jason Kelce as well this season. It seems the veterans are retring each season in Philly. It will be time for the Eagles to look to the future in trades and drafts to help rebuild the areas they have lost key players in retirement.
The Eagles are looking to have success this season. The Eagles lost in the Wild Card game last season the Buccanneers 32-9. If they make the playoffs again this season, It would be a great outcome for DE Bradon Graham for his last season as a player and Philadelphia Eagle.
NFL Defensive End Brandon Graham Retiring After NFL Season
The Philadelphia Eagles selected Graham in the 2010 NFL Draft 13th overall. His career was a slow start when he fell to injuires and not as productive as planned during the years. His career took off during the Eagles championship run in 2017 with 9.5 sacks.
Graham also is known for a big moment in Super Bowl LII when Graham strip sacked Tom Brady to seal the deal for the Eagles first ever Super Bowl win.
Graham made the Pro Bowl in 2020 , he has recorded 467 tackles, 146 quarterback hits, 21 forced fumbles and seven fumble recoveries (one for a touchdown). He has made a big impact in Philadelphia and he will be missed by the team and its fans.
Graham has the fourth most sacks in franshise history with 73 sacks. Graham will be in the rotation this season along with Bryce Huff, Josh Sweat and Nolan Smith.
Graham said “It’s my last year, man,” he said after Wednesday’s training camp practice. “So, I’m just trying to soak it all in, trying to enjoy every day, trying to give it everything. No stone unturned.”

Graham is 36 years old and not sure of his future after football he reported “Last first day as a player. I don’t know what the future holds with the organization,” Graham said. “It’s my last year, so just trying to soak it all in, trying to enjoy every day.”
The new NFL season is set to start for the Philadelphia Eagles Sept 6th 2024 against NFC North rivals Green Bay Packers.
It will be a bittersweet moment for when Graham does play in his last NFL game this season as a Philadelphia Eagle.
