Justin Tucker, free-agent placekicker, has apparently been suspended for ten games in the upcoming football season by the National Football League. The suspension comes as a result of the various sexual misconduct allegations from several massage therapists at spas in Baltimore. As a result of the allegations, Tucker was released by the Baltimore Ravens earlier this year, but of course, the team did not mention these accusations as their reason for doing so.
Tucker’s representatives have been in close talks with the NFL and have arrived at a settlement of the ten-game suspension. The placekicker has denied anything to do in the allegations, which reportedly occurred during the years of 2012 and 2016. The suspension was announced by none other than Ian Rapoport through his X account.
“Former #Ravens K Justin Tucker, recently released by Baltimore amid a slew of off-the-field allegations related to alleged sexual misconduct, was officially suspended 10 weeks by the NFL.” Ian Rapoport tweeted through his X account.

After his ten-game suspension was announced, it is now clear that kicker Justin Tucker is a free agent. However, it is also unclear as to which team will be ready to sign with a player who has so much controversy and scandal surrounding him.

Meanwhile, the Baltimore Ravens look pretty content after letting Justin Tucker go. The team is poised to do well in the upcoming NFL season and even get to the Super Bowl with quarterback Lamar Jackson heading their offense.
Justin Tucker Accepted Suspension To Avoid Further Drama
It was surprising that Justin Tucker so easily accepted the ten-game ban issued by the NFL, especially since the placekicker so vehemently denied the sexual misconduct allegations against him. However, there might be a good reason for the kicker doing so.

NFL analyst Ian Rapoport discussed the same and remarked that the placekicker might have accepted the decision just so that he could somehow sign with another team. It looks like Tucker is looking for his future in the NFL, rather than deny the allegations, reject the ban, and continue to dole out appeals with the league.

Tucker’s ten-game ban makes him a free agent with the league, but it is definitely not sure as to which franchise will take him on. Perhaps a team that has struggled with injuries might recruit the player once the 2025 NFL season is underway. Tucker has only played for the Ravens in his entire NFL career and has managed a total of 417 field goals.
