REPORT: James Pearce Jr.’s Battery Arrest Takes Turn As Rickea Jackson Gets Involved

James Pearce Jr. is in a lot more trouble with reports coming in that Rickea Jackson will be testifying against the player in court. Pearce was arrested a few days earlier after a domestic dispute with the W hooper which ended in him ramming his car and even hurting a cop.

Rickea Jackson is not just ready to testify against the Falcons’ rookie, but also apparently wants all the proceedings to be completed as soon as possible. Since the incident, fans have been massively trolling James Pearce Jr. and calling for the Falcons to dump him.

“Jackson told police that Pearce, her ex-boyfriend for almost three years, followed her in his vehicle Saturday morning, tried to open her car door at a stop and then later rammed her car with his vehicle multiple times when she tried to enter into the Doral Police Department, according to an affidavit. Police responded after Jackson called. According to the affidavit, officers saw Pearce standing on the outside of his SUV on the driver’s side with the door open. An officer pulled a gun on Pearce and ordered him to get on the floor. Pearce got back into his car and closed the door. The officer opened the door, but Pearce shut it again, locked it and drove away. While Pearce was driving away, the SUV struck an officer in his left knee. The affidavit describes it as “intentionally in an attempt to evade arrest.” Marc Raimondi wrote in his article.

Since the arrest, the Falcons are yet to come up with a solid response in terms of James Pearce Jr. for which the team has been getting a lot of heat. Only DC Jeff Ulbrich came forward to express that he is pretty “disappointed” with the whole thing.
