Derek Carr meets with a new team
Derek Carr is considered one of the top quarterbacks in free agency this offseason. Carr had a good meeting with the New York Jets a couple of weeks ago. He’s also met with the New Orleans Saints. Carr went to the NFL Scouting Combine this week to meet with other teams and talked to a Saints divisional rival Tuesday.
According to Ian Rapoport with the NFL Network, Carr met with the sets again on Tuesday. He also met with Carolina Panthers owner David Tepper. Carr will meet with representatives of the Jets, including owner Woody Johnson.

Carr is seeking around $35 million for his services next season. The four-time Pro Bowl will turn 32 years old in March. Carr’s coming off a season where he made the Pro Bowl after throwing for over 3,500 yards and 24 touchdowns to 14 interceptions. He was still benched at the end of the season by head coach Josh McDaniels, who has yet to show any success as an NFL head coach.
