The Denver Broncos get a top tackle in free agency
The Denver Broncos offense was a disaster in quarterback Russell Wilson’s first season with the team. The lack of production got head coach Nathaniel Hackett fired before the end of his first regular season in Denver. New head coach Sean Payton must have decided the Broncos needed significant help with the offensive line as the Broncos went with an elite right tackle in free agency.
According to Dianna Russini with ESPN, the Broncos are expected to pick up Mike McGlinchey in free agency this week.

The former first-round pick has been with the San Franchise 49ers since they drafted him in 2018. He earned a 71.5 overall grade by Pro Football Focus for his play in 2022. He’s known for his run-blocking ability. His pass blocking is more average. McGlinchey gave up six sacks last season.
The deal is expected to be around 4-years, $87.5 million.
