Aaron Rodgers has left the New York Jets, and one of his former teammates may soon follow suit. According to ESPN’s Rich Cimini, wide receiver Allen Lazard may simply get up and leave the Jets to follow Rodgers to whichever team the veteran quarterback chooses.
Rodgers and Lazard have played several seasons together during their time in the Green Bay Packers. The two talented players share a pretty sweet rhythm, which might be a main factor as to why Lazard may leave the Jets after signing a four-year deal with the team back in 2023.
Aaron Rodgers has definitely not made up his mind about which team he will be playing for in the 2025 NFL season. The Pittsburgh Steelers are or were surely interested in Rodgers, but the 42-year-old quarterback has been delaying his decision. At the same time, there were rumors going around that Rodgers is keeping his fingers crossed that the Minnesota Vikings will have a deal for him.
There are also reports going around that the former New York Jets quarterback will actually end up retiring from the game since he has not announced his commitment to any particular team. The 2025 NFL draft is also fast approaching, and the quarterback needs to make a decision soon.

Aaron Rodgers May Go Overlooked As Pittsburgh Steelers Eye Shedeur Sanders
Aaron Rodgers may not have a team after him any longer as the Pittsburgh Steelers are reportedly seeking to trade Shedeur Sanders as per recent rumors. The Pittsburgh Steelers have been quite patient in their wait for Aaron Rodgers to make a decision. However, the team seems to have finally gotten tired of waiting and is looking at other options.

Shedeur Sanders, who last played for the Colorado Buffaloes, is being sought out by numerous teams and will be a major attraction in the 2025 NFL draft. In his senior year with the Buffaloes, Sanders managed a total of 4,134 passing yards, scoring 37 touchdowns along with ten interceptions.

While Aaron Rodgers definitely has a remarkable reputation following him, the 42-year-old quarterback has not been able to put up many impressive performances in the past season. Still, Rodgers is one of the most popular names in the league today, even though he is in his senior years. In the 2024 NFL season, Rodgers managed a total of 3,897 passing yards, scoring 28 touchdowns along with 11 interceptions for the New York Jets.
