Aaron Rodgers seems to be gelling well with his teammates at the Pittsburgh Steelers training camp, according to recent reports. Retired NFL kicker, Josh Carney, tweeted sometime back with information from 93.7 The Fan’s Jeff Hathhorn. According to Hathhorn, the rest of the players are considering Rodgers to be just another ‘normal guy’, regardless of his veteran status.
Rodgers definitely does not give off a very get-to-know-me vibe and is known to be highly secretive regarding his personal life. In fact, the quarterback did not even reveal information about his recent marriage to his own family members. However, it seems like Rodgers has been letting his guard down and definitely enjoying getting to know his new teammates better.
“According to 93.7 The Fan’s Jeff Hathhorn, #Steelers players were ‘pleasantly surprised’ by QB Aaron Rodgers’ personality during minicamp. Aaron Rodgers will be playing his very first season with the Pittsburgh Steelers, and the veteran quarterback’s presence on the team is bringing about mixed reactions. While many feel that Rodgers will definitely help the Steelers’ offense, other analysts feel that Pittsburgh is definitely a lost cause and the QB’s presence will not do anything for the team.
Aaron Rodgers Ranted About Jets to Mark Schlereth
It is certainly common knowledge that Aaron Rodgers and the New York Jets did not exactly get along so well with each other. While there was not much dirty laundry done in public, the veteran quarterback stuck out like a sore thumb in the team and was definitely not comfortable there.

While Aaron Rodgers did not speak out on his issues with the Jets before, he has definitely done so to his close friend Mark Schlereth. Schlereth recently revealed that Rodgers dissed the New York Jets, especially their offense for more than 20 minutes in a private conversation.

Aaron Rodgers had plenty to say about the terrible state of the offense in the New York Jets, and also had some not-so-nice things to say about their organization as a whole. After two years of struggling with the Jets, Rodgers was released by the team in March this year. Pretty immediately after, the Pittsburgh Steelers showed their interest in the quarterback, to which Rodgers responded by signing a couple of weeks earlier.
