The Baltimore Ravens have their top two tight ends seemingly figured out after last season, with Isiah Likely breaking out last year especially when Andrews was out with injury, and Mark Andrews already been established as a star tight end, and multiple-time Pro Bowler for Baltimore, who was drafted in 2018, the same class as two-time MVP and star quarterback Lamar Jackson.
Ravens Tight End Charlie Kolar Impressing in Camp
Charlie Kolar wants to enter the mix, the 25-year-old out of Iowa State, has one career touchdown so far, and only 11 career catches for 136 yards, but Kolar has been very impressive in Training Camp so far.
Fellow Tight End Mark Andrews is praising Kolar so far.
“He’s working hard. He’s focused. The big thing about Charlie is [that] he just wants to do everything.
He wants to be great at everything. And he loves blocking. He loves hitting people, and he loves being versatile. He can still catch the hell out of a ball. He can still run incredible routes. He’s an all-around tight end. He’s going to be big for us as well.”
