After drafting three offensive linemen in 2025, the Baltimore Ravens continued to bolster their protection by bringing in veteran tackle Joe Noteboom, who joined the team after his stint with the Los Angeles Rams.
Drafted in the third round in 2018, Joe Noteboom spent seven seasons with the Rams and helped them capture a Super Bowl LVI title. Now with the Ravens, the veteran tackle instantly boosts the team’s offensive line with his experience. Baltimore, still anchored by former All-Pro Ronnie Stanley, also bolstered its line by drafting tackles Emery Jones Jr. and Carson Vinson in the middle rounds of the 2025 NFL Draft.

Noteboom served as one of Sean McVay’s steadiest offensive linemen for almost a decade. However, injuries have consistently derailed his progress. He appeared in just four games last season due to various health issues and has played in only 24 of the Rams’ last 53 games over the past three years.
The 29-year-old inked a three-year, $40 million deal with the Rams in March 2022, but his season was cut short after just six starts due to a torn Achilles. He bounced back in 2023, appearing in 14 games and starting eight.
Joe Noteboom adding depth to the Baltimore Ravens O-Line

Although Noteboom carved out a starting role during his time with the Rams, he’ll likely serve as a depth piece in Baltimore in 2025. At 31, he isn’t expected to challenge Ronnie Stanley at left tackle, and with 2024 second-round pick Roger Rosengarten showing promise as a rookie, the Ravens seem set at the bookend spots.
The Ravens’ decision to bring in Noteboom aligns with their ongoing commitment to fortifying the offensive line. Long known for their consistency up front, Baltimore surrendered the fourth-fewest sacks in 2024 and ranked third in run-block win rate by season’s end.

Even with all five starters returning, the Ravens still prioritized bolstering their offensive line. Noteboom steps in as the likely replacement for longtime backup Patrick Mekari, who joined the Jacksonville Jaguars in free agency, and will now serve as Baltimore’s primary veteran reserve up front.
The Ravens also picked up LSU guard Garrett Dellinger in the seventh round. Noteboom, Jones, Vinson, and Dellinger will compete alongside Andrew Vorhees, Corey Bullock, and Nick Samac for second-team reps during training camp.
After his college career at TCU in the Big 12, Joe Noteboom has played in 71 NFL games and started 35 of them.
