Odafe Oweh has been pretty good in his NFL Career, Oweh was a first-round pick by the Baltimore Ravens in the 2021 NFL Draft out of Penn State, in his first year in the NFL he made the PFWA All-Rookie Team. He has five sacks, three forced fumbles, and two fumble recoveries in his rookie year, a solid one for a 31st overall pick.
The 2023 season was maybe his best, Oweh had five sacks, 23 tackles, 12 quarterback hits, and two forced fumbles, despite missing four games with an early-season ankle injury.
CBS Sports Josh Edwards named Oweh to his All-Breakout team for the 2024 season.
“It is not an ideal time to buy stock in Oweh considering all of the defections from Baltimore’s defensive coaching staff. However, he profiles as an impact player at this level,” CBS Sports’ Josh Edwards writes. “His sack per pressure rate (9.8%) was relatively low compared to his pressure rate (17.2%), so he will have to do a better job finishing plays in 2024. Unfortunately, that was part of the concern coming out of Penn State.
The Ravens have earned a reputation of pulling the most out of that group over the years with the likes of Pernell McPhee, Za’Darius Smith and more.”

Odafe Oweh recently said he’s “chasing perfection” for the upcoming season.
Oweh has had a solid NFL Career so far, but there’s many expectations he can improve and stay healthy for the upcoming 2024-25 NFL Season for the Baltimore Ravens.
If you don’t put high expectations on yourself, you won’t even get close to the level you want,” Oweh said after the final practice of mandatory minicamp. “I’m not trying to be perfect, but I’m chasing perfection, as close as I can get to it. I put high expectations on myself because I believe I can get to that level. God gave me broad shoulders for a reason.
Kyle Van Noy believes in Oweh, Van Noy who signed a two-year contract with Baltimore after a very solid 2023-24 season with the Ravens, after being signed midseason.
He’s impressive, man. He’s a specimen,” Van Noy said. “I try to keep him next to me all the time and make sure he’s always pressing and doing the right thing.
“I really expect him to bounce off the charts this year. He showed a lot of signs last year, but I think with him gaining confidence, understanding who he is – he’s still maturing. It’s amazing to see how mature he’s gotten already. I’m excited to see his future, and I’ll be his cheerleader, that’s for April.
