The Baltimore Ravens had an incredible 2024 season that ended on a sour note. Not only was Baltimore eliminated from the playoffs at the hands of the Buffalo Bills. but just a few weeks later Josh Allen would take home the MVP award over Lamar Jackson.
However, stories surrounding the Ravens are not about on-field issues.

Having Lamar Jackson and Derrick Henry as one of the scariest rushing tandems in the NFL, it’s no wonder some consider DeCosta one of the NFL’s best general managers.
However, his family is going viral:
DeCosta is not only an NFL general manager but also quite the family man. He currently has three children with his wife, Lacie DeCosta. Lacie herself is now finding herself amid some interesting headlines.
Donald Trump made one of the most controversial rulings for US Sports on Wednesday and announced it on social media. The President made it illegal for transgender men to compete in women’s sports in the USA.
Eric DeCosta’s Wife, Lacie DeCosta, Stands On Her Opinion
Lacie DeCosta had something to say and responded to Trump’s ruling with a tweet via X, quoting the President. “It’s a great day for Women’s sports,” posted the 48-year-old, adding a heart hands emoji to show some emotion.

However, not all people agreed with the Ravens’ GM’s wife, as the team’s editorial director, Ryan Mink, took to the replies section saying, “Trans women are women. Trans girls are girls,” clearly not agree with DeCosta’s stance.

DeCosta decided to reply to Mink, saying, “Ryan Mink, we don’t have to agree. I have played sports my entire life. I was an All-American lacrosse player. Many girls don’t see this as a trans issue but a fairness issue. I will always fight for fairness when it comes to girls in sports.”
While these two may not agree on these topics, very few people do. In 2025, the Ravens will likely aim to return to the playoffs.
