The Broncos are more likely to deal their Pro Bowl LB
The Denver Broncos have several pieces the team has received interest in before the trade deadline. Wide receiver Jerry Jeudy and tight end Albert Okwuegbunam have drawn much attention from NFL teams needing help on offense. Those might be exciting options as an appetizer for the 2-5 Denver Broncos currently getting beat in London, but the main course could be one of the biggest blockbuster trades this season. One rumor involves a Pro Bowl defensive player.
According to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, the Broncos most want to trade linebacker Bradley Chubb of their trade assets.
“My understanding is Bradley Chubb is chief among them,” Rapoport said Sunday morning. He added that it was less likely the Broncos would want to trade one of their wide receivers or tight ends.
“Chubb could be had for a very hefty price,” Rapoport said. He listed the Los Angeles Rams, Tennessee Titans, and Baltimore Ravens as teams that would be interested in the talented pass rusher. He said Broncos ownership would ideally like to keep Chubb but could be swayed with a great deal.

The Broncos have a lot to figure out this week
Much of the Broncos’ future depends on the outcome of their game this week against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Rumors came out this weekend that head coach Nathaniel Hackett might be fired if the team were to drop to 2-6 after their trip to London. The Broncos may soon be in rebuild mode with arguably one of the worst quarterback contracts in NFL history.
Would the Broncos want to keep the Pro Bowl linebacker with the contract he’s going to ask for? According to multiple reports, Chubb will ask for more than $20 million annually. That’s a lot of money for a 26-year-old pass rusher that hasn’t made the Pro Bowl since 2020. He’s also had several injuries. Chubb, while playing well, hasn’t been a factor that has gotten the Broncos to the playoffs.
