The debate over whether LeBron James is actually the greatest of all time in basketball is still ongoing when he is compared to Michael Jordan, which has received insight from Rams star Puka Nacua.

However, Rams star Puka Nacua didn’t hold back from dropping a lot of heartfelt praise for the 41-year-old Lakers star.

During an appearance on the Snapback Sports X page (previously known as Twitter), Nacua made a bold case for LeBron James as the Greatest basketball player of all time.

“Score 40 when you’re a teen, scored 40 when you were 40. The only person to take 3 different franchises to the big dance and get it done for them. Never seen Michael Jordan do that. I never want you to leave. Never retire. They could never do no wrong. You could walk out on the basketball court with no knees, and only your left hand and give the NBA 25/5/5, just like you’ve done for 27 years straight. You’re the best, I love you so much. I still need a jersey, I’ll still be at the games. LeGOAT.”

LeBron James has secured four NBA championships, 4 Final MVPs, along with 4 regular season MVPs in his career so far. The Lakers legend is also an all-time leading scorer in the league, securing 21 All-NBA team honors, 22 All-Star selections, and more than 50,000 career points.

Rams General Manager Weighs In on Puka Nacua’s Potential Extension

The Rams have a lot of important decisions to make this offseason, and on top of the list must be Puka Nacua’s contract extension.

Led Snead and Co. must act fast, as Puka Nacua is expected to have an increased demand; however, the Rams general manager is on a mission to secure the star wide receiver.

“Yeah, I think you hit the nail on the head,” stated Rams GM Les Snead on Nacua’s potential extension. “It seems simple, right? If you’re one of the best at what you do and obviously he’s evolved into one of the best things, that’s a pretty simple contract because it’s pretty self-explanatory where you fall in the ecosystem and the hierarchy. There are also so many variables. There are other players whose contracts are up.”

“Maybe there are so many variables that go into to that make it more complex than it would seem on the surface level. Similar to a few players we’ve had in the past that have been at that level in the ecosystem, you have to begin communication and begin working through it to come up with win-win solution.”

Nacua ended 2025 with an impressive 129 receptions, 1715 yards, and 10 touchdowns, proving himself as one of the best wide receivers in the league.
