Rumors have been whirling about Rams running back Cam Akers in the last 24 hours. The Rams running game has been subpar this season and Akers hasn’t contributed to any positive vibes. On Thursday and Friday, Akers was kept out of practice and is listed as out for Sunday’s contest vs. the Carolina Panthers. Akers appears to be upset with his role in the LA offense and was not granted his wish to be the full-time ball carrier. It now seems that today Akers is expected to demand a trade in the coming days. It seems as though the Rams running game might have an upgrade soon.
