An arrest warrant that surfaced online Monday provided more details as to why police in Ft Lauderdale arrested Cleveland Browns running back Quinshon Judkins on Saturday. Police charged Judkins with a misdemeanor charge of touch or strike battery/domestic violence.

Per the arrest warrant published on X by the NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero, police claim the victim told police the incident started at the Fort Lauderdale International Airport. The two had a dispute regarding text messages, and claimed Judkins punched her in the mouth/chin area while in a rental vehicle.

“The victim stated that the defendant then punched her in the mouth/chin area with a closed fist,” the arrest report states. “The victim still had visible bruising on her chin area. The victim showed me a photograph that she took the following day of her chin/lip area. The bruising was clearly evident.”

The victim told the police that Judkins pulled over, and she exited the vehicle to speak to his mother. However, she did not disclose the incident with Judkins at the airport and in the vehicle. When she returned to the vehicle, the argument continued with her in the backseat.

“The victim stated that the defendant turned around while he was driving and struck her additional times in the left arm and thigh,” the arrest report states. “The victim had visible bruising on her left arm and thigh. The victim also displayed photographs that were taken just after the incident with similar bruising.”

Per the NFL’s website, the league is aware of the situation but declined to comment on the situation.

Judkins was selected with the No. 36 pick in April’s draft. The Ohio State standout has not yet signed his rookie contract.
