Cleveland Browns rookie running back Quinshon Judkins has seen his life turn upside down recently.  He has been accused of punching his girlfriend.  Details are still emerging regarding this situation, however, some recent photos leaked don’t look good.

As a result of his domestic violence arrest, Cleveland Browns rookie Quinshon Judkins has been photographed in court:

Last Saturday, police arrested Quinshon Judkins for touch or strike/battery/domestic violence. Per the arrest report, Judkins’ girlfriend accused him of punching her in the mouth/chin area during an argument at the Fort Lauderdale International Airport on July 7.

The victim also claims that while they were driving, Judkins hit her again in her left arm and thigh. The arresting officer noted in the report that the victim provided photographs taken after the incident.

Additionally, the victim told police that she didn’t immediately call 911 because “she felt bad due to the recent success” of Judkins. The Browns selected him in the second round (36th overall) in April’s draft.

A photo of Quinshon Judkins’ court appearance on Sunday has gone viral. The 21-year-old posted a $2,500 bond, and a judge ordered him to have no contact with the alleged victim.

In a statement, the Browns said they’re “gathering information” on the matter. The NFL’s baseline punishment for domestic violence is six games.

After two seasons at Ole Miss, Judkins transferred to Ohio State and rushed for 1,060 yards and 14 touchdowns. The Buckeyes went on to win the national championship, defeating Notre Dame 34-23 in the big game.

Two picks after Judkins, the New England Patriots used the No. 38 selection on fellow Ohio State RB TreVeyon Henderson, who also played an instrumental role in the Buckeyes’ national championship triumph.

With four-time Pro Bowler Nick Chubb departing and eventually signing with the Houston Texans in free agency, Judkins was projected to be the No. 1 running back on Cleveland’s roster.

But with potential discipline looming, veteran Jerome Ford (Cleveland’s lead RB over the last two years) and rookie Dylan Sampson (a fourth-round pick) should get extended looks in Kevin Stefanski’s offense.
