Tom Brady

I feel wrong to put Tom Brady in this category. At this point, no one can doubt Tom Brady. He arguably should have been the league MVP last year at age 44! That is just insanity. He had one of his best seasons of his career statistically last year. He threw for 5,316 yards which were the most of his career in a single season. Brady also threw for 43 touchdowns which was the second highest of his career in season. The Buccaneers offense runs through Brady and they allow him to cook. In standard scoring, Brady was the QB3 last year.
Are people just getting tired of Tom Brady? That has to be the only reason for why he is being drafted as the 12th QB off the board. He clearly still has juice left and he’s in a very good offense to stay fantasy relevant. While you aren’t going to get any rushing bonus from Brady he’s most likely going to be one of the league leaders in passing touchdowns and yards. The Buc’s are also not afraid to pass in the Redzone either. Brady had 32 of his 43 passing touchdowns in the Redzone last season. 6% of his throws were touchdowns last year which is easily repeatable as Brady has been averaging 6.3% since he arrived in Tampa Bay. That makes me believe he can sustain the touchdown numbers he posted last year. QB12 is a steal as Brady has top 5 potential and should out perform his draft position with ease.
Trey Lance

I’m high on Trey Lance this year. I go in depth on a prop I like on Trey lance season long in my 49ers betting breakdown. The 49ers are committed to Trey Lance as they publicly have said he will be the starter and that Jimmy G is going to be traded. Lance has the skillset to be a top fantasy QB. Having a set rushing floor is huge at the QB position as it gives you a massive floor in general. Lance is in a great system to flourish with great weapons alongside him. What scares people is probably not seeing much of Lance. He appeared in three games last year and averaged 18 fantasy points per game (pretty good for a rookie). Now being named the starter, Lance should have all the confidence in the world going into this season. If Lance can prove himself as a passer while maintaining the rushing we saw last year he can be a very valuable pick at the 8.07. My bold prediction is Lance can finish as the QB1 in Fantasy Football this season if everything goes right. I think at this price you have a high enough floor baked in while having massive upside which is what you are looking for in a sleeper.
Zach Wilson

This may shock people, but again, when looking for a sleeper I want someone who has upside. I could’ve picked a guy like Matt Ryan or Ryan Tannehill here but we know what they are. There’s not a ton of upside there. They may be safer but this late in the draft I’m shooting for the stars. Lets take a look at the Jet’s offseason. They went out and added TE CJ Uzmoah and G Laken Tomlinson to beef up their line. They also had one of the best drafts as they added key skill position players including WR Garret Wilson and RB Breece Hall. Add that to the core they already had of WR Elijah Moore and WR Corey Davis and this offense doesn’t look half bad. I think Wilson has skill and tools to be a good QB in the NFL. He’s mobile which always provides a floor at the QB position and has good arm talent. A better supporting cast this year should be able to boost Wilson’s game. He may flop, but he’s worth the stab late in drafts this year.
