‘Pretty Creepy’: Fans Erupt After Derrick Henry Stares Down Fan Filming Him at Airport

Derrick Henry, one of the most talented and popular running backs in the NFL, has been in the news lately over loud calls from him for the Baltimore Ravens to sign Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver A.J. Brown ahead of the next season. Beyond that, Derrick Henry is in the news over conversations surrounding his privacy needs in public spaces.  Recently, a video of Derrick Henry is going viral as fans wade into the common hassle celebrities seemingly can’t permanently push away.

Fans Erupt After Derrick Henry Stares Down Random Filmer at Airport 

In an X story posted by MLFootball, a dedicated sports account, Derrick was seen walking through the airport. The Baltimore Ravens’ running back appeared focused on wading through to his next destination before a random filmer interrupted his attention.

A fan apparently saw Henry’s appearance as an opportunity to gain premium, original celebrity content and began filming the athlete as he passed through. However, Henry was quick to notice the filming fan early in the clip and began staring down at the camera.

Meanwhile, the fan refused to stop filming within the first few seconds of the clip. Soon, a pretty flustered Henry would throw his palm to query the filmer’s intent once and again, towards the end of the viral clip.

For many fans, the event highlighted a common challenge celebrities often face – maintaining their privacy rights in public spaces. One fan retorted:

“Pretty creepy to be recording him like that. I’m with Derrick.”

Another fan added, 

“Henry straight mean-mugging that fan! Privacy invasion vibes 😤🏈”

A third fan commented,

“Being famous doesn’t mean you lose your right to privacy.”

And this fan just never seems to understand, 

“I’ll never understand people who do this, he’s just another guy.”

Just like another fan who asks,

“invading privacy in public?”

Henry has yet to make any public statements concerning the clip or situation. However, for him and the rest of the Ravens’ fans, all the deserving attention and “filming” is reserved for the next regular season – one during which Henry openly wishes to play at alongside wide receiver A.J. Brown, should things go his way.
