Texas A&M Aggies head coach Mike Elko announced on Monday that running back Le’Veon Moss suffered a season-ending knee injury during the 44-20 loss on Saturday night against the South Carolina Gamecocks. Moss is a junior and he was one of the best offensive players on the team this year.
The Aggies running back has rushed for 765 yards on 121 carries and 10 touchdowns, along with averaging 6.3 yards per carry. He also has caught 10 passes for 141 yards receiving and zero touchdowns. along with averaging 14.1 yards per reception.

He played a huge role in this offense. It will be interesting to see how he will play during his senior season.
Amari Daniels Takes Over
Amari Daniels will be the running back for the Aggies in the meantime. This season, he has rushed for 466 yards on 94 carries and six touchdowns, along with averaging 5.0 yards per carry. Daniels also has caught five passes for 59 yards receiving and zero touchdowns, along with averaging 11.8 yards per reception.
He will need to step up in the absence of Le’Veon Moss. The Aggies will need to win out and face the New Mexico State Aggies next on November 16 after the bye week.
