The New York Giants once had a 19-0 lead against the Denver Broncos. The Giants defense was good all afternoon long until Paulson Adebo got injured in the secondary and Deonte Banks came into the game.
The defense all of a sudden had trouble stopping Denver’s offense once Banks came into the game. He was a former first round pick and there are many fans who believe that Banks should never see the field again as a cornerback.
New York Giants Fans Want Team to Cut CB Deonte Banks
The weak link of this defense is no doubt in the secondary, especially the former first round pick. The Broncos scored a touchdown in the fourth quarter on a play that was not even intended for Banks, but he gave up the touchdown anyways. The defense looked bad since he has come into the game for Adebo. This is what some fans sad about Banks:
Please cut Deonte Banks and literally sign anyone else off of the street.
This guy must have broken several mirrors and split every pole he’s ever walked by.

The Giants defense has major issues at the cornerback position. Dru Phillips has been awful in the game as well. Banks has no doubt been a bust for this football team also.
