The Pittsburgh Steelers have been one of the classiest organizations in the NFL for a long time and while Mike Tomlin has built one of the best cultures in the league, the team hasn’t faced much drama off the field.
There’s a clear standard in Pittsburgh that Tomlin carefully built. With that comes expectations on how to act both on and off the field, and there are certain players that will never play for the Steelers because they aren’t a fit.
Under Tomlin, the Steelers have made 11 playoff appearances, won seven AFC North titles and advanced to two Super Bowls, winning in Super Bowl 43. Most notably, Tomlin has never posted a losing season as head coach.

Right now, the Pittsburgh Steelers are sitting at (5-2), tied with the Baltimore Ravens atop of the AFC North.
Somehow, the Steelers were able to acquire two starting-level quarterbacks in the offseason — and while Justin Fields played well enough to get the team to a (4-2) start — Russell Wilson was finally healthy last week and opened the offense up through the air, finishing the night with 262 yards and two touchdowns as the starting QB.
With a run-first brand of football, Pittsburgh is able to set up the play-action pass which Wilson has thrived at throughout his career. The Steelers also have a two-headed monster in the backfield with Najee Harris and Jaylen Warren, and even when teams know how Pittsburgh will attack them, they struggle to find an answer.
Defensively, the Steelers are consistently one of the top units in the NFL. Right now, Pittsburgh boasts the No. 8 defense in the NFL, with superstar pass rusher TJ Watt and a cast of both veterans and young stars wreaking havoc on opposing offenses.
Pittsburgh Steelers Legend Le’Veon Bell Claims MAGA Hat Got Him Out Of Speeding Ticket

Recently, there’s been a public link between the Steelers organization and former president Donald Trump, although the team hasn’t publicly endorsed him or any candidate.
Ahead of last weekend’s home game against the Jets, it was announced Trump would be in attendance and the Steelers were forced to release a statement citing extra security measures to keep fans safe.
But the night before the game on Saturday, former Pittsburgh Steelers star WR Antonio Brown actually took the stage at a Trump rally in Latrobe, Pennsylvania and gave a glowing endorsement for Trump.
“I know the media is going to call me and Trump crazy for having me speaking here,” Brown said at the rally. “But I want to make this clear. We are not. They are.”
Brown was joined by another former Pittsburgh Steelers star, former running back Le’Veon Bell, who also appeared on stage at the rally.

It seems like these former Steelers’ stars, who have been controversial on multiple topics since their careers in Pittsburgh ended, can’t stop finding ways to endorse Trump.
On Thursday, Bell posted on X that wearing a MAGA hat got him out of a speeding ticket.
I got pulled over .. cop asks for my license & registration, & while i’m in process of getting everything for him .. he then says “I love your hat man.” immediately I say “OF COURSE, MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN SIR.” he hands me back my things and says “have a great day Mr. Bell” 🇺🇸

It’s clear at least two former Pittsburgh Steelers greats aren’t hiding who they are voting for when the presidential election rolls around in less than two weeks.
Brown went as far as to get terrible towels made with Trump/Vance on them and physically handed them to fans entering the stadium on Sunday night ahead of the Jets game. With Pennsylvania at the forefront when it comes to deciding the election, Brown and Bell are going all out.
