The sixth-seeded Pittsburgh Steelers will soon travel to Maryland to play against their archrivals, the third-seeded Baltimore Ravens, at M&T Bank Stadium on Saturday night for the first-ever playoff game on Prime Video. This marks the third time these two teams will face off during the season, as both teams have split their previous matchups, and the home team has won both games. The Steelers are currently 9.5-point underdogs.
The Pittsburgh Steelers veteran defensive back has missed two of the last three games
Steelers’ talented veteran cornerback Donte Jackson initially injured his back in Week 14 against the Cleveland Browns, but he managed to play in Week 15 against the Philadelphia Eagles before the team decided to pull him from that game. Jackson did not play in Week 16 against the Baltimore Ravens and returned to the lineup for Week 17 against the Kansas City Chiefs. However, he did not play in Week 18 against the Cincinnati Bengals as he continues to recover from the pinched nerve in his back.
Steelers’ key starting defensive back receives a massive injury update for Saturday night
Donte Jackson participated during the short week of practice as a full participant, a great sign regarding his availability for Saturday night. The Pittsburgh Steelers released the week’s injury report a little while ago, and Jackson did not have an official injury designation/status. Therefore, he will play against the Baltimore Ravens for the Super Wild Card, barring any setbacks or complications.
