The Pittsburgh Steelers sit atop the AFC North, with Justin Fields potentially separating himself as the starting quarterback of the present and future, but, general manager Omar Khan and head coach Mike Tomlin may have the chance to add a dynamic an game-changing weapon on offense.
This week, Davante Adams requested a trade, and multiple reports suggest the Las Vegas Raiders are open to the idea of dealing the 31-year-old playmaker.
In Pittsburgh, the Steelers are desperately searching for a consistent second option behind wide receiver George Pickens to emerge. This summer, the Steelers were heavily linked to trading for San Francisco 49ers receiver Brandon Aiyuk, but that deal ultimately never came to fruition.
According to NFL Insider Josina Anderson, the Steelers have shown preliminary interest in trading for Adams.
Meanwhile, I'm told the #Steelers do have preliminary interest in at least discussing a potential trade for #Raiders WR Davante Adams, per source.

Adams would certainly elevate a Steelers’ offense that has primarily built an identity around its ground-and-pound running game.
Through his 10-plus season career, Adams has caught 890 passes for 10,990 yards and 96 touchdowns, and opposite Pickens would give the Steelers and Fields an electrifying receiver duo.
Time will tell if Pittsburgh makes a serious run at Adams, but given the need on offense and the potential to continue building around Fields both for 2024 and potentially seasons to come.
