The Pittsburgh Steelers have been quietly re-tooling their roster this offseason. Although they have not made a “splash” move that has stolen the headlines, the team has made a number of under-the-radar signings that should improve what was already a fringe-playoff team from last year.

That improvement will continue as they plan to sign Guard Isaac Seumalo to a three-year deal, according to Jordan Schultz of theScore. A former starter from the Super Bowl LVII runner-up Philadelphia Eagles, Seumalo comes from an offensive line that ranked #1 in the NFL last season according to PFF. Seumalo himself boasted a career-high grade of 75.2 last season, while only allowing a single sack.
Pittsburgh is smartly making the offensive line a priority this offseason. They signed another former Eagle, Nate Herbig, to a deal this offseason as well. The attention to the trenches will be much appreciated by their young quarterback, Kenny Pickett, who will be entering his second season in the league.
