The Philadelphia Eagles have been trying to build a roster good enough to win another Super Bowl.
While the Eagles have made the playoffs every season but one since their last —which was the first in franchise history —Super Bowl win in 2017, they haven’t found a way to bring home another Lombardi trophy yet.
Just two seasons ago, Jalen Hurts and the Eagles cruised to an impressive (14-3) regular season record, thrived throughout the NFC playoffs and made it back to the Super Bowl, But just like they have done to so many other teams recently, the Kansas City Chiefs crushed their dreams, outlasting Philly 38-35 in a thrilling game that was decided in the final seconds.
Since then, the Philadelphia Eagles brass has gone all-in to get back to the big game. Last spring, they locked down Jalen Hurts as their franchise QB, signing him to a 5-year, $225 million contract. But while many NFL franchises struggle to add talent around their star QB due to the salary cap, Eagles GM has masterfully built one of the most talented rosters in the NFL.

In April, the Eagles locked down star WR AJ Brown to a 3-year $96 million extension back in April.
In 2022, Brown broke a 38-year franchise record for the most receiving yards in franchise history with 1,496, on the way to second-team All-Pro honors.
In 2023, he set the new single-season franchise mark for most receptions by a wide receiver, with 106, on his way to second-team All-Pro accolades. He’s the first Eagles wide receiver with 1,200 or more yards in back-to-back seasons, breaking his own record with 1,456. He broke the NFL record by gaining at least 125 yards in six straight games.
But the Philadelphia Eagles weren’t done there. They also inked their No. 2 WR, Devonta Smith, to a 3-year deal worth $75 million, creating one of the most lethal wide receiver tandems in the NFL.
Oh, and they also found a way to sign one of the best running backs in the league, Saquon Barkley, away from their division rival. Philly gave Barkley a 3-year deal worth almost $38 million.
It’s abundantly clear GM Howie Roseman believes the Eagles’ best chance to repeat their 2017 performance and win another Super Bowl is right now. After seven games, they are sitting at (5-2), second in the NFC East behind the Washington Commanders who have shocked the entire league with a (6-2) record so far.
As the current Eagles team tries to bring back the magic from 2017, one player from that Super Bowl squad is facing some serious legal troubles.
Philadelphia Eagles Super Bowl Champion Nigel Bradham Arresed On Felony Charges

According to a report from TMZ early Monday morning, former Eagles linebacker Nigel Bradham was arrested in Florida earlier this month.
Florida Highway Patrol provided an incident report stating the 35-year-old was pulled over on Oct. 10 in Tallahassee after allegedly going 78 MPH in a 55, while his two kids were in a 2023 KIA SUV with him.
One officer wrote in the report that after stopping the former Philadelphia Eagles LB, he admitted to driving despite knowing he had a suspended license. The police documents stated this was not the first time he’s committed the offense.
In addition, the officer said he discovered during the stop Bradham had an active warrant for possession of a controlled substance out of Leon County.
He was ultimately arrested and taken into custody before making bail.

Court records show he’s since been charged in Wakulla County with one felony count of driving while license suspended or revoked.
Bradham played a pivotal role for the Philadelphia Eagles in 2018, starting his first career playoff game against the Falcons in the Divisional round where had had four tackles, a sack and a pass deflection. He earned one of the starting LB spots in Super Bowl LII and recorded seven tackles in the Eagles’ 41-33 victory over the Patriots.
