The Philadelphia Eagles enter one of the most challenging phases in the NFL, the offseason, because of the many challenging decisions they will make. Throughout the offseason, Philadelphia will make many difficult decisions along the way, including cutting players and letting players walk in free agency. With limited cap space and $18 million to work with, the Eagles cannot afford to retain every big-name free agent since some will depart to sign lucrative contracts somewhere else.
Highlighting one of their big-name free agents is their defensive tackle.

Eagles’ defensive tackle lists 1 major factor for him to stay

Milton Williams told the media, via Olivia Reiner of the Philadelphia Inquirer, that he would like to stay in Philadelphia but also wants a raise. Williams also said he wants to be in the best situation for him to win and compete for championships. Here’s what he had to say about the subject matter:
“Obviously, I’d love to be back in Philadelphia,” Williams said via Reiner. “But right now, I’m just trying to enjoy this moment with my teammates. The rest of that is going to take care of itself. I’m pretty sure I’ll end up where I’m supposed to be. I’ll just put that in God’s hands.
“Just being in the right situation,” Williams said. “Valuing what I bring to the table. Obviously, a raise. But I want to win. I like this feeling of winning and being on top of the world. So definitely want to try to get in a situation as close to this as possible.”
Spotrac currently projects Williams’s next contract to be for three years and valued at around $12 million per year.
