Philadelphia Eagles general manager, Howie Roseman, managed to swerve around a question posed by a reporter about Myles Garrett, defensive end for the Cleveland Browns. Garrett drew plenty of attention to the Browns recently as he put out a trade request, despite having two years left in his contract.
Currently, the Philadelphia Eagles team is solely concentrating on the upcoming Super Bowl against the Kansas City Chiefs happening on Sunday. The Eagles managed to win their ticket to the Super Bowl after defeating the Washington Commanders in the NFC Championship game, with an impressive 55-23 final score.
“I’m not gonna talk about anyone else under contract with any team. Nice try, though.” Howie Roseman said to reporters.

The Philadelphia Eagles had a pretty decent 2024 NFL season and finished at the top of the NFC East table with 14 wins and three defeats. Meanwhile, Garrett has plenty of reason to want to leave the Browns, who have been struggling quite a bit in the last few seasons. The Browns finished the season at the bottom of the AFC North table with only three wins and 14 defeats.
Philadelphia Eagles To Play Against Chiefs In Front Of President Donald Trump
Super Bowl LIX will be an even more exciting affair with reports coming in that US President Donald Trump will be watching the game between the Philadelphia Eagles and the Kansas City Chiefs at Caesars Superdome. The newly elected president will also be giving an interview with Bret Baier, Fox News Chief Political Anchor, in the pregame show.
The Philadelphia Eagles will be led in offense by quarterback Jalen Hurts, and are banking on Saquon Barkley to take charge of the team on the ground. The duo has been the main positive points of the team, and has been widely credited for the team’s success in this season. In the 2024 NFL season, Hurts has thrown for a total of 2,03 yards, scoring 18 touchdowns and managing five interceptions.
On the other hand, the Kansas City Chiefs are banking on quarterback Patrick Mahomes to take them to victory in the Super Bowl once more. In the 2024 NFL season, Mahomes threw for a total of 3,928 yards, scoring 26 touchdowns in total, with 11 interceptions.
While Mahomes’ stats have been dipping consistently over the last three seasons, he is still one of the most formidable forces in the NFL, and constantly pitted against Tom Brady as the greatest football player of all time.
