The Philadelphia Eagles face uncertainty regarding their long-term future at EDGE despite two solid up-and-comers and adding Josh Uche and Azeez Ojulari. Excluding Nolan Smith and Jalyx Hunt, Philadelphia has only one player under contract for the next two years: Bryce Huff, who could be dealt this offseason. Because they are concerned with their long-term depth, the Eagles may draft an EDGE rusher in the first or second round.

He played college football for Boston College

Donovan Ezeiruaku committed to the Boston College Eagles as a three-star recruit for the 2021 season. He had a great career with Boston College, recording 215 tackles, 47 TFLs, 30 sacks, and eight forced fumbles in 47 games.
Ezeiruaku had a masterful senior season, boasting career highs in tackles, TFLs, pressures, and sacks. He recorded 80 tackles, 21 TFLs, 60 pressures, an 18.2% pass-rush win rate, 16.5 sacks, and three forced fumbles in 12 games. He finished fourth in tackles for loss and second in sacks, second in pressures, and 15th in pass-rush win rate among EDGE rushers who played a minimum of 50% of defensive snaps (h/t) PFF.
His masterful performance earned him the Ted Hendricks Award for top defensive end, ACC Defensive Player of the Year, First-Team All-ACC, and First Team All-American.
Here’s Lance Zierlein’s scouting report on Donovan Ezeiruaku

“Slightly undersized outside linebacker for a 3-4 front with long arms and plus athleticism. Ezeiruaku uses every bit of his length paired with aggression to mitigate size differences at the point of attack.
“He gets engulfed at times but typically separates from or slips blocks cleanly. He’s quick off the snap, using bend and agility to win at the top of the rush or make stops in the backfield.
“His hands exploit small advantages to turn them into big ones and he has a variety of ways to challenge protection, though he’s still learning to craft his plans. Ezeiruaku’s play demeanor, skill and athletic talent are the underpinnings of a productive starter with three-down value.”
