Former Philadelphia Eagles stars DeSean Jackson and LeSean McCoy were discussing former head coach Chip Kelly on a podcast.
That’s when they decided to call up former teammates of theirs, one of which is still on the Eagles, and ask what their opinions of Kelly are.
Former Philadelphia Eagles players had bad things to say about Chip Kelly

McCoy and Jackson called former teammates Jason Peters, Brandon Graham and Jeremy Maclin. All three former players had bad things to say about Kelly.
“Bull**** a** guy man,” Peters said.
“He was very selfish, didn’t want to give up too much power and lead,” Graham said.
“Trash,” Maclin said.

Kelly spent three years as the head coach of the Eagles from 2013 to 2015. He went 10-6 in his first two seasons but was 6-9 in 2015 when he was fired after week 16.
The Eagles only made the playoffs once during his tenure and they lost the one playoff game in which they participated.
Kelly’s Eagles teams slowly declined statistically after each season he was there. In his first two seasons, the Eagles were a top-five offense in terms of points scored, but they dropped to the middle of the pack by his last season. The same goes for his passing offenses and rushing offenses.
Philadelphia Eagles fans share the same sentiments about Chip Kelly

Many Eagles fans share the same sentiments as the players who played under Kelly. A lot of Philadelphia fans think they had a chance to make a deep run with the talent he inherited, but failed to do so because of Kelly’s shortcomings as a coach.
Many believe Kelly didn’t only miss his chance to win, but set the organization back several years due to his inability to properly manage a roster for the future.
The Eagles, who fired Super Bowl-winning head coach Doug Pederson just a few years after he helped bring the Lombardi Trophy to Philadelphia, were quick to move on from Kelly. Some players even said the move was unexpected in an article from ESPN.
“It was unexpected,” wide receiver Jordan Matthews told ESPN’s Josina Anderson. “I had no idea it was coming. I found out like everybody else.”
Just as some players do, plenty of fans still hold a grudge against Kelly for the few lost years he cost the Eagles.
Chip Kelly set back that organization years. We should’ve won a bowl with Vick

I will never forgive him for wasting all the talent we had on that team.
Vick feels the same way btw.
